A three week delay.
Prior to today, Ubisoft's 'The Crew' was officially set for a November 11th release, the same day as two of Ubisoft's 'Assassin's Creed' titles. Now 'The Crew' slips to December 2nd. Ubisoft offered this specific explanation for the delay, which revolves around an extra beta session:
"The extra time will allow for a second closed console beta to be held, giving even more players the opportunity to experience the game, which is something the community has been requesting. Like the betas held previously, valuable player feedback and other essential information will be gathered, further enhancing the experience."
'The Crew' is a massive, online, new console/PC racer, and there's little tettling what an extra three weeks of development time could bring apart from tweaks. The extra time with a beta, however, may mean that the game will launch with a minimum of launch week server woes.
