Exclusive until Fall 2015.
Yesterday, it was 'Exodus Blue,' and today it is the 'Dust Palace Strike.' As has been mentioned once or twice, the PlayStation 4 and PS3 versions of 'Destiny's are getting exclusive content. Today, Bungie and Sony are showcasing the exclusive 'Dust Palace Strike.'
Not only is this a look at the PlayStation exclusive content, but it's also a good explanation of Strike missions in general. This co-op challenge area tasks players to take down an entire area (around 30 minutes). Only those who survive will be able to keep the rewards. Bungie has promised that these areas are highly replayable thanks in part to ever shifting enemy set-up.
From the PlayStation Blog, "Within the shadow of a great Golden Age colony ship, Guardians hold blood-pounding contests of skill in memory of Exodus Blue, and all the ship represented. This mid-sized, infantry-focused competitive map is exclusive to PlayStation until Fall 2015, and has been optimized for both 3-on-3 and 6-on-6 matches."
"The buried Martian city of Freehold, long abandoned, is home to a decaying artificial intelligence of immeasurable value. This lost power has drawn the interest of the militaristic Cabal, and their brutal forces. That means the Guardians have some work to do in this white-knuckle, cooperative mission set within the Dust Palace."
