'BOXBOY' Sequel Announced for 3DS

Sequel now available in Japan.

Last year saw the release of 3DS puzzle platformer 'BOXBOY', which received critical acclaim. Today, a sequel titled 'BOXBOY: One More Box' was announced and immediately made available on the Japanese eShop. No word on a Western release just yet, though the first game was fairly succcessful, so it likely isn't too far off.

It's interesting to see this get released without any fanfare. Nintendo isn't averse to stealth releases like this, but typically they at least come accompanied with a Nintendo Direct announcement. Still, 'BOXBOY' was beloved by those who played it, so it's nice that a sequel has been made so shortly after the original.
