Developer states that they aren't willing to compromise on quality.
Ninja Theory has announced that their upcoming action game 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice' will not be releasing in 2016, and will instead hit PS4 and PC sometime in 2017. The studio has cited numerous reasons behind the delay, notably a cancellation of another project at Ninja Theory that took time to sort out, a collaboration with Epic Games focusing on performance capture technology, and that progress simply hasn't been as fast as they would like, and they aren't willing to compromise on the game's quality.

Here's hoping the delay only leads to the game being as good as it possibly can be. Ninja Theory is a talented studio, and I hope their foray into independent production pays off.
