Time to reserve that hard drive space.
If you pre-ordered either the regular or $90 Deluxe digital versions of 'Halo 5', might want to head over to the Xbox Store at your earliest convenience. You can now preload the game onto your hard drive right this second.
Sure, you do have a couple of weeks, since the full game's not set to unlock until october 27th at 12:01am, but it's not a bad idea to start it up sooner than later because not only is it not a small file by any means--about 46GB--but Microsoft have also announced that the multiplayer component will have a separate 9GB content update meant to "supplement online multiplayer with map content for Arena Multiplayer and Warzone Multiplayer", which will unlock prior to launch. They recommend having your console set to Instant On to grab the update the second it unlocks, but, remember, the Xbox Store is already not exactly the speediest of outlets with a big launch like 'Halo 5' will undoubtedly be. With everybody and their mom trying to download, this could take a while regardless. Now's the time to get primed and ready, folks.
