New behind-the-scenes featurette released by Konami.
'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' is finally out in the wild, and with it, Konami has released a 10-minute video showing Kojima sitting face-to-face with his loyal crew, getting their take on the development of the series over the years.
In another universe, a featurette released about the effort put into such a game might be a fascinating breakdown and show of respect to the folks making it. Given what we now know about Konami and Kojima this year, however, this 10-minute feature can't be seen as anything short of a permanent farewell to a legacy spanning a hair short of three decades. The kicker is the final segment, in which Kojima visits the family of a fan who died of cancer this past February. It's pretty heartbreaking, and adds even more melancholy to Kojima's final, optimistic message to his fans. Take a look below.
