Same developer, new locale.
Nearly two years ago, Microsoft published their openworld, arcade-style 'Forza' spin-off, 'Forza Horizon.' Today, Microsoft announced that this fall, a sequel, 'Forza Horizon 2,' will be arriving on both the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Once again, Horizon 1 will be developing with some input coming from 'Forza' developer, Turn 10.
The game will feature among other cars, the cover star, the 2015 Lamborghini Huracán. While the first game was set in Colorado, the new game moves the locale to southern Europe.
While the game is due for both the 360 and Xbox One, there does seem to be a very fundamental difference:
X1 version of Horizon 2 is built on the Forza 5 engine, led by Playground. X360 version is built on Horizon 1 engine, led by Sumo Digital.
