And yes, there is a release date.
In the category of the least surprising surprise announcement ever, EA announced this years iteration of 'Madden' with very little ceremony today revealing just the logo, and a release date--August 25th. No systems were announced though it's probably a safe bet current-gen consoles are the priority. EA is promising proper details sometime in May. Watch this space.
