We're a little over a month out from 'Mirror's Edge Catalyst' launching, and Polygon has managerd to score the first uninterrupted look at the opening stages of the game in a half-hour long video.

The verdict? It's beautiful. It's the fully realized promise of the original game. The city somehow keeps the stark aesthetic, while still displaying an insane amount of fine detail, no slowdown, The characters are fleshed out more, and oh, man, the running. It's exhilarating, and that's while watching not playing. Suddenly, the next month just ground to a halt. Take a look below.
