Bungie Clamping Down on 'Destiny's Raid Exploits, No New Content in Sight as Iron Banner is Again Recycled

Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below News

"Hot Fix" nearly exclusive to Crota's End changes.

Only four months in, and the narrative of 'Destiny,' a game which is known as shipping without much of cohesive story, has become pretty standard. No new content in-bound as Bungie focuses its energy on making the one activity that is left for most players, the raids, harder. Bungie had already announced that it would be fixing the exploits that players have been using to beat the game's second raid, 'Crota's End,' and today, as the remaining player base prepared to run the raid one last time under the December 9th rules, Bungie has released a hot fix that fixes the Pit Encounter exploit, the Bridge Encounter exploit, and multiple Crota Encounter exploits, including the pull the network cable while Crota's kneeling exploit.

Of course, the other big part of the hot fix is the prep for the Iron Banner, which will start again tomorrow, January 13th. For whatever reason, the ever resetting Iron Banner seems to be Bungie's idea of new content. Naturally, for those still playing 'Destiny,' the Iron Banner and Xur inventory re-treads are the norm. Bugs that afflicted the game since launch are left alone, while raid "fixes" are issued regularly.
