Bungie Shows Off 'Destiny' Companion App

Player character, quests, vendors and more.

As 'Destiny' coverage ascends towards a new height, Bungie has revealed the Companion App, which will be usable during the beta. Both iOS and Android versions are being set for release.

Anyone interested in the game should check out the app, especially the Grimoire.  Not only does the app allow the player mobile access to player customization, quest, bounty, achievement, palyer stats, and vendor information, the Grimoire part of the app is a well of ability information.  Unlocking Grimoire bonuses, it seems. is a big part of maximizing the player character's abilities.  Changes made to the player's loadout in app is being promised as taking effect in real time.  The app is also subject to large changes post beta, so players have the chance in hte next two weeks to help shape what the app offers.
