Part of Capcom's conversion to Steam
PC gamers long saddled with having to go through Games for Windows Live for their 'Resident Evil 5' fix rejoiced when the game was converted to Steam. Now they have even more reason: The game's Gold Edition content, which included all of the game's DLC, is now available through Steamworks as well.
Players who already own the game through GFWL can download the Steam version free, and the Gold Edition content can be had for the low cost of $14.99. Those who don't own the game altogether can download the whole shebang for $29.99 normally, however, to celebrate the move, both the original "vanilla" version of the game and the Gold Edition are on sale this weekend for $7 and $21, respectively. Further details can be had on Capcom's official site.
