No more delays!
Anyone worried that CD Projekt Red might flake out on their May 19th release date for 'Witcher 3', as they did back in December, and again in February, can officially breathe a sigh of relief, as the developer announced today that the game has gone gold, ahead of schedule.
In a statement, CD Projekt's Adam Badowski said, "We worked so damn hard over the past three years to bring you this game. From the corrupt nobles in Novigrad to ancient monsters lurking in deep forests, to the bustling cities, colorful ports and breathtaking vistas; all the people, all the places--we literally spent tens of thousands of hours to turn all that into an adventure that will kick your ass and make you want to come for more."
The work isn't quite done just yet for the team, however, as they announced two expansion packs last week: 'Hearts of Stone', which will launch in October, and 'Blood and Wine', which is due sometime in 2016. Both are expected to add about 30 hours a pop to the main game, which already supposedly clocks in at 200 hours for all of its content.
