How many games have a button just for flexing?
Just in time for Independence Day weekend, the developers behind 'Broforce' have released an update, titled the 'Freedom Update,' that adds new attacks and a couple of new characters into the high-octane shooter.
Joining the game's existing lineup of playable characters—who are similar yet legally distinct from iconic action heroes—are The Brocketeer, a take on 1991's 'The Rocketeer,' and Broheart, an American twist on Mel Gibson's William Wallace in 'Braveheart.'
The Freedom Update gives new melee attacks to characters, letting Broheart go to town with his claymore and giving players of the 'Broforce' Chuck Norris knock-off the option to dispence with guns and stick to flying roundhouse kicks. Also added in the update is a flexing feature, a kind of taunting that lets you prove to enemies who has the biggest biceps.
The 'Freedom Update' includes is fair share of bug fixes as well. You can see all of the fixes on the patch notes page on Steam.
'Broforce' is currently available as an early access title on Steam.
