New Live-Action 'Doom' Trailer Moves To The New Beat

'Doom's closed beta begins today, and to get everybody in the demon-killing mood, Bethesda's decided to release a new live-action trailer, directed by Joe Kosinski of 'Tron: Legacy' and 'Oblivion' fame, set to Refused's New Noise, a.k.a. one of one of the most ass-kicking thrash punk songs ever.

And it's a fine mix, albeit it still doesn't really shake the super-generic feeling the game's still giving off after all this time. Though, it's certainly possible we'll be hearing after this weekend whether the initial impression is off base. Anyone still wanting in on the beta who didn't redeem their pre-order code from 'Wolfenstein: The New Order' can still head down to their local Gamestop tomorrow and see if they have any available.
