Today Is Not Your Date With 'Destiny': Game Offline For Scheduled Maintenance

Servers offline till late afternoon.
Hopefully you didn't have anything important to do in 'Destiny' today, because Bungie just announced they're taking the game offline for some maintenance from 8:00AM PDT/11 EDT till 2:00PM PDT/5PM EDT. We're pretty sure it's just tweaks to get everything good and ready for 'The Taken King', so no one should panic. Bungie does mention, however, that the companion app and some functionality of Bungie.net might go offline during that period too, in case you were planning to get some Grimoire reading done in the meantime. This has been a public service announcement.
