'7th Dragon III: Code VFD' Heading to the US This Summer

Travel through time and kill dragons.

Sega has announced today that the 3DS dungeon crawler '7th Dragon II: Code VFD' will be released in the US in Summer. This marks the first time a game in the series has been released outside of Japan, though no knowlege of the previous games is necessary to enjoy this one.

The game is set in 2100, when dragons have begun attacking Earth, with the player taking the role of a hero who teams up with Nodens Enterprises to travel to three different time periods to upset the balance of power and save humanity. Players will create their own characters from 8 different job classes, as well as build bases and form relationships. You can catch a trailer for the game below:
