The streaming service is giving FilmStruck members a special deal.

Fandor has announced a limited time promotion specially geared toward members of the soon to be defunct FilmStruck streaming platform. As part of the deal, FilmStruck members can now receive over 50% off an annual Fandor subscription.

Fandor offers hand-picked streaming access to over 4,000 indie films, documentaries, international features, and shorts, including titles like The Magnificent Seven, Carnival of Souls, The English Patient, City of God, Lars and the Real Girl, The Stranger, and more. The service is available via Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Android, Kindle, iPad, and iPhone devices

With the special limited time discount, FilmStruck members can now sign up for an annual Fandor subscription for a reduced rate of $24.99. A regular subscription usually costs $60 annually or $6 per month. For more details, CLICK HERE.

The special promotion comes as a response to Warner Bros. Digital Networks and Turner's recent decision to terminate their FilmStruck subscription streaming service. The platform first launched back in 2016 and offered a mix of contemporary and classic arthouse, indie, foreign and cult films from many major studios and independent distributors, including Warner Bros., Janus Films, Flicker Alley and Icarus. Likewise, the service was the home of the Criterion Channel with streaming access to the label's collection of titles.

While it's not yet clear where Criterion will take its films just yet, the company actually previously offered select titles through Fandor as part of its deal with Hulu.

The special Fandor discount for FilmStruck members will only be available for a limited time, though the company has not yet revealed an end date.
