Two new A/V receivers with next-gen audio support have been detailed.
Denon has announced the latest additions to its home audio gear lineup. The AVR-S710W ($479) and AVR-S910W ($579) will both support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats.
Both models are 7.2 channel receivers with HDMI 2.0a connections and HDCP 2.2 compliancy. Likewise, both receivers include built-in Dolby Atmos support and Denon will offer a DTS:X firmware upgrade in the fall for 5.1.2 speaker setups. The AVR-S710W is rated at 7x80w into 8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz. Meanwhile, the AVR-S910W is rated at 7x95w into 8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and AirPlay are integrated as well.
The Denon AVR-S710W and AVR-S910W are expected to start shipping in July.
