Annual memberships for the upcoming DC streaming platform are now available for pre-order.
Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have announced pricing for their upcoming DC Universe digital entertainment service. A one-year membership for the subscription streaming platform is now available for pre-order for $75 via DCUniverse.com. Meanwhile, monthly subscriptions will cost $8 per month once the service launches in fall 2018.
And to help celebrate the news, DC Universe has also released the first trailer for its live-action original series Titans. Check out the trailer below!
Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
Beyond Titans, DC Universe will feature several exclusive original live-action and animated series based on DC Comics characters, along with classic TV series and films, a curated selection of digital comic books, breaking news, a DC-centric encyclopedia, and access to exclusive merchandise. Additional original shows set to debut on the platform will include a live-action series based on the Doom Patrol comic, a live-action show based on the Swamp Thing character, a continuation of the Young Justice animated series dubbed Young Justice: Outsiders, and a new animated Harley Quinn show.
DC Universe will launch in the US this fall on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, web, and mobile web devices. In addition, a beta launch for the service is scheduled to go live in August. Fans can sign up for the beta here.
