Countdown to Amazon Prime Day Deals: Echo Dot, Smartphones, and Alexa Exclusives

New deals are now live in anticipation for the upcoming sale.

Though Amazon Prime Day doesn't officially start until 6pm PT/9pm ET on Monday, July 10, the online retailer is currently offering a few deals in advance of the main event, including a refurbished Echo Dot. Likewise, Amazon has also announced exclusive discounts and early access for deals through Alexa devices.

Starting today through July 17, Amazon Prime voice shoppers using an Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Amazon Tap, Fire TV or compatible Fire tablets have access to special Alexa exclusive deals. The discounts will frequently refresh and users can simple say "Alexa, what are your deals?" to hear the newest offers. And as an extra bonus, first time voice shopping customers who buy items with Alexa between now and Prime Day will receive a $10 promo code. 

In addition, voice shoppers can now sign up for Amazon Prime at a discounted price of $79 by saying "Alexa, sign me up for Prime" using their Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, or Amazon Tap. Finally, Alexa users will also get early access to select Prime Day deals beginning July 10 from 4pm to 6pm PT.
