Killer storms, magic crystals, and more are all heading to Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Troma, Warner Bros., AGFA, Sony, Dark Sky Films, Shout Factory, and FUNimation Entertainment.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Troma will release Greg DeLiso's Hectic Knife starring Peter Litvin, JJ Brine, Georgia Haege, John Munnelly, and Traci Ann Wolfe on January 9. Supplements will include:
- Intro by Lloyd Kaufman
- Deleted Scenes and Blooper Reel
- 2 Audio Commentaries
- Theatrical Trailer
- Original Short Films and more Tromatic Extras!
Likewise, the studio is bringing Stephen Lange's Junkbonds: The Return of Junkbucket starring Erin Stewart, David Rollison, Graham Downing, and Kate Jaeger to Blu-ray on January 9 as well. Supplements will include:
- Theatrical Trailer
- Audio Commentaries
- Bloopers and Deleted Scenes
- Radiation March
- Troma Now! XTREME Edition
- Return to Return to Nuke Em High aka Volume 2 Fantasia Teaser
Warner Bros. is prepping Dean Devlin's Geostorm starring Gerard Butler, Katheryn Winnick, Abbie Cornish, Ed Harris, and Jim Sturgess for Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D on January 23. The movie will feature a Dolby Atmos soundtrack and supplements will include:
- "Wreaking Havoc: Cutting edge visual effects, research and technology create the world of Geostorm.
- Search for Answers: Inspired by his daughter's question of why can't global warming be stopped, Director Dean Devlin retraces the creative journey that led to Geostorm.
- An International Event: A global cast opens up about the secrets behind Geostorm.
AGFA is set to release Natuk Baytan's The Sword and the Claw starring Cüneyt Arkin, Bahar Erdeniz, Barbara Lake, and Charles Garret on January 23. The disc will feature a brand new 4K remaster from the only 35mm theatrical print in existence, and supplements will include:
- Face-smashing action trailers from the AGFA vault
- Bonus Movie: Brawl Busters (1981), a new 2K scan from an original theatrical print
- Reversible cover art with illustration by Alexis Ziritt (Space Riders)
Sony is set to release Angela Robinson's Professor Marston and the Wonder Women starring Luke Evans, Rebecca Hall, Bella Heathcote, Connie Britton, and JJ Feild on Blu-ray on January 30. Supplements will include:
- The Secret Identity of Charles Moulton Motion Comic
- A Dynamic Trio: Birth of a Feminist Icon
- A Crucial Point of View: Directing – Professor Marston and the Wonder Women
- Deleted Scenes
In addition, the studio is bringing Jesse Johnson's Accident Man starring Ashley Greene, Scott Adkins, Ray Stevenson, and David Paymer to Blu-ray on February 6. Supplements have not been announced yet.
Meanwhile, an Anniversary Edition of Jim Henson and Frank Oz's The Dark Crystal is in the works for a March 6 release. Supplements will include:
- Featurettes
- Audio Commentary
- Trivia Game
- Picture-in-Picture
- Deleted Scene
- Electronic Collector's Book
As previously reported, Shout Factory is prepping James Glickenhaus' Shakedown starring Peter Weller, Sam Elliott, Richard Brooks, Jude Ciccolella, and Thomas G. Waites for Blu-ray on January 23. Newly announced supplements will include:

In addition, the label will bring Oliver Hirschbiegel's Downfall: Collector's Edition starring Bruno Ganz, Alexandra Maria Lara, and Corinna Harfouch to Blu-ray on March 13. No other details have been announced at this time.
Meanwhile, The company will release Larry Cohen's The Ambulance starring Eric Roberts, James Earl Jones, and Megan Gallagher on March 13 under its Scream Factory label. Supplements have not been announced yet.
Luca Bercovici's Rockula starring Dean Cameron, Toni Basil, and Thomas Dolby will then hit Blu-ray on March 20. No other info has been revealed at this time.
Likewise, Joe Dante's The Burbs starring Tom Hanks, Bruce Dern, Corey Feldman, and Carrie Fisher will also arrive on Blu-ray on March 20. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
Scott Glosserman's Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon: Collector's Edition starring Nathan Baesel, Robert Englund, Krissy Carlson, Angela Goethals, and Scott Wilson will then follow on March 27 under the Scream Factory label. No other details have been announced.
And rounding out Shout Factory's upcoming lineup will be Óskar Thór Axelsson's I Remember You starring Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Thor Kristjansson, and Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir to Blu-ray on March 27. Supplements have not been detailed yet.
Dark Sky Films is preparing Adam Green's Victor Crowley starring Kane Hodder, Felissa Rose, Tiffany Shepis, Parry Shen, Laura Ortiz, and Dave Sheridan for Blu-ray on February 6. Supplements will include:
- Cast Commentary with Writer/Director Adam Green and Actors Parry Shen, Laura Ortiz, and Dave Sheridan
- Technical Commentary with Writer/Director Adam Green, Cinematographer Jan-Michael Losada, Editor Matt Latham, and Make-Up FX Artist Robert Pendergraft
