Movies starring Ed Helms, Saoirse Ronan, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and more are all coming to Blu-ray.
New info has been revealed for several upcoming Blu-ray releases from Olive Films, Lionsgate, Sony, Hannover House, Discotek Media, Milestone, PBS, Kino, and Twilight Time.
Here's a full rundown of recently revealed details and title announcements:
First up, Olive Films has announced its upcoming slate of Blu-rays due for release on January 30. The lineup will include...
Brian Dorton's Preexisting Conditions starring Brian Dorton, Douglas Conner, and Gerica Horn. The disc will feature:
- "A Handsome Dick" short film
- Deleted and Alternate Scenes
- Katrina's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
- Outtakes and Blooper Reel
- Photo Gallery
- Trailer
Julio Medem's Tierra starring Carmelo Gómez, Emma Suárez, and Karra Elejalde.
Julio Medem's Vacas starring Emma Suárez and Ana Torrent.
Julio Medem's The Red Squirrel starring Emma Suárez, Nancho Novo, María Barranco, Karra Elejalde, Carmelo Gómez, and Cristina Marcos.
Bigas Luna's Jamon Jamon starring Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and Stefania Sandrelli.
Fernando Trueba's Belle Epoque starring Penelope Cruz and Jorge Sanz.
Lionsgate is prepping Hèctor Hernández Vicens' Day of the Dead: Bloodline starring Sophie Skelton, Johnathon Schaech, Jeff Gum, Marcus Vanco, Mark Rhino Smith, and Lillian Blankenship for Blu-ray on February 6. No other details have been announced at this time.
In addition, the studio will bring Greta Gerwig's Lady Bird starring Saoirse Ronan, Odeya Rush, Jordan Rodrigues, Laurie Metcalf, Timothée Chalamet, and Kristen Cloke to Blu-ray later this year. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet, but the disc is now available for pre-order.
Hannover House is set to release Alison Eastwood's Battlecreek starring Bill Skarsgård, Paula Malcomson, Claire van der Boom, and Delroy Lindo on February 6. No other details have been revealed at this time.
Milestone is preparing Lois Weber's Shoes starring Mary MacLaren, Harry Griffith, and Mattie Witting for Blu-ray on February 6. Supplements have not been announced yet.
In addition, the label is also set to bring Lois Weber and Phillips Smalley's The Dumb Girl of Portici to Blu-ray on February 6 as well. No other details have been announced at this time.
Discotek Media has announced plans to release Mamoru Oshii's Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer starring Fumi Hirano, Toshio Furukawa, and Akira Kamiya on February 27. Supplements have not been announced yet.
Likewise, the label will also bring the anime series Library War to Blu-ray on February 27 as well. No special features are currently listed for the disc.
In addition, NieA_7 - The Complete Series will also hit Blu-ray that same day. No other details have been revealed at this time.
Sony is prepping Dito Montiel's The Clapper starring Amanda Seyfried, Ed Helms, Brenda Vaccaro, James Ransone, Russell Peters, Adam Levine, and Ed Helms for Blu-ray on March 6. No other details have been announced at this time.
Full Moon Features is bringing Charles Band's Hideous! starring Michael Citriniti, Mel Johnson, Jr., Jacqueline Lovell, Jerry O'Donnell, and Andrew Johnston to Blu-ray on March 13. Supplements will include:
- Original Hideous! Full Moon Videozone
- Audio Commentary with actors Mel Johnson Jr and Michael Citriniti
- Full Moon Features trailers
PBS has announced plans to release Peter Bratt's documentary Dolores featuring Dolores Huerta, Gloria Steinem, Angela Davis, Hillary Clinton
Redemption is prepping Christian Marnham's The Orchard End Murder starring Raymond Adamson, Cyril Cross, and Jessie Evans for Blu-ray on March 13. Supplements have not been announced yet, but the film will feature a new master.
Kino is bringing A. Edward Sutherland's It's the Old Army Game starring W.C. Fields, Louise Brooks, Blanche Ring, William Gaxton, and Mary Foy to Blu-ray on March 13. The disc will feature a new 2k master Supplements will include:
- Audio commentary by film historian James L. Neibaur, author of The W.C. Fields Films
- New score by Ben Model
Likewise, the label will also release Gregory La Cava's Running Wild starring W.C. Fields, Marie Shotwell, Mary Brian, Claude Buchanan, and Frederick Burton on March 13 as well. The disc will feature a new 2k master Supplements will include:
- Audio commentary by film historian James L. Neibaur, author of The W.C. Fields Films
- New score by Donald Sosin
In addition, Kino is prepping Ray Milland's A Man Alone starring Ray Milland, Mary Murphy, Lee Van Cleef, Raymond Burr, Arthur Space, Ward Bond, and Martin Garralaga for Blu-ray later this year. Supplements and an exact release date have not been announced yet, but the disc is set to feature a new 4K remaster.
Twilight Time has announced several upcoming titles set for a March 20 release. The lineup includes:
Samuel Fuller's Underworld U.S.A. starring Cliff Robertson, Dolores Dorn, and Beatrice Kay.
Richard Fleischer's The New Centurions starring George C. Scott, Stacy Keach, and Jane Alexander.
Philip D'Antoni's The Seven-Ups starring Roy Scheider, Tony Lo Bianco, and Victor Arnold.
Roy Ward Baker's Don't Bother to Knock starring Richard Widmark, Marilyn Monroe, and Anne Bancroft.
Supplements have not been announced yet, but each disc will be limited to 3000 copies.
