Two new trailers debuted during the 2019 New York Comic Con.
CBS All Access has released new trailers for Star Trek: Picard and Star Trek: Discovery Season 3. An exact release date for the new season of Discovery has not been announced, but Picard is set to officially start streaming on January 23, 2020.
Star Trek: Picard - The series will feature the return of Patrick Stewart in the iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Though an official synopsis has not been revealed yet, the trailer depicts a retired Picard embarking on a new journey with a new crew after a mysterious woman comes to him for help. Beyond Patrick Stewart, additional cast members for the show include Santiago Cabrera, Isa Briones, Alison Pill, and Harry Treadaway. Likewise, a few familiar faces from previous Star Trek shows are also featured in the preview, including Brent Spiner as Data, Jonathan Frakes as William Riker, Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi, and Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine.
Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 - Star Trek, one of the most iconic and influential global television franchises, returns 50 years after it first premiered, with Star Trek: Discovery. The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers. This season, coming soon exclusively to CBS All Access, the crew finds itself further into the future than any other Star Trek story. The show stars Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, and Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly.
A current CBS All Access subscription costs $5.99 per month with reduced commercials or $9.99 per month for a commercial-free plan.
