The company has announced its latest A/V receivers.
Yamaha has detailed four new additions to its RX-V line of network A/V receivers. The RX-V779 ($850), RX-V679 ($650), RX-V579 ($550), and RX-V479 ($450) are expected to hit stores later this month.
"The RX-V 79 Series gives consumers what they value most in home entertainment — flexibility, wide device connectivity and the best possible audio and video quality," said Bob Goedken, general manager, AV Division, Yamaha Corporation of America. "This approach has been key to the RX-V Series' best-selling status in the industry over the years–and our enhancements this year in each of these areas will keep these AV receivers at the front of the pack."
The RX-V779, RX-V679 and RX-V579 are all 7.2 channel receivers, while the RX-V479 is a 5.1 channel receiver. All four models feature 4K Ultra HD support with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliant connections. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect are integrated as well. In addition, the RX-V779 and RX-V679 also offer SiriusXM Internet Radio and Rhapsody music streaming services. Likewise, these two premium models include 4K upscaling support as well.
In addition to these four new models, the company also recently released the RX-V379 for $300.
