Warner Drops Three New HD DVD Titles in June

Increasing their support for day-and-date HD DVD titles, Warner Home Video has announced three new releases in June, including a new hybrid HD DVD/DVD combo disc.

Due on June 20, 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' will include both HD DVD and DVD versions on opposite sides of the disc. The release boasts the same supplementary features as the standalone DVD versions.

Also set for release on June 20 is the Oscar-nominated drama'Syriana' which is will include all of the same features as its standard DVD counterpart, plus two bonus featurettes "Reality Into Drama" and "A Conversation with Matt Damon" exclusive to the HD DVD release.

Streeting a week later on June 27, Warner will bow the classic action film 'Lethal Weapon.' Though Warner's official press release indicates the release will include all of the same features as the standard DVD version, it is not specified whether the HD DVD will include the theatrical cut and/or the Director's Cut of the film previously released in 2000.

Warner has set retail prices of $39.99 for 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,' $34.99 for 'Syriana' and $28.99 for 'Lethal Weapon.'
