The company's latest collection of LCD displays with local dimming are now available!
VIZIO has announced the release of its newest line of HDTVs. The M-Series features smart TV functions and full-array LED backlighting.
"The VIZIO M-Series collection represents a significant milestone in picture quality for mainstream consumers," said Matt McRae, Chief Technology Officer, VIZIO. "We crafted a best-in-class experience by increasing brightness, doubling the number of Active LED Zones and boosting the Clear Action performance. All this is coupled with our VIZIO Internet Apps Plus platform for endless entertainment options."
The M-Series ranges in size from 32-inches to 80-inches and features full-array backlighting with local dimming and up to 36 active LED zones. This allows the backlight to adjust its intensity in individual zones based on the content on screen, resulting in better contrast, superior uniformity, and deeper black levels. In addition, the TVs also offer Active Pixel Tuning and Clear Action Rate 7202 technology for improved detail and motion. Finally, the M-Series includes full smart TV options with integrated Wi-FI and a QWERTY keyboard built right into the remote, giving customers access to apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Spotify.
The full lineup of models includes the M322i-B1 ($329.99), M422i-B1 ($529.99), M492i-B2 ($699.99), M502i-B1 ($699.99), M552i-B2 ($899.99), M602i-B3 (currently $1,149.99), M652i-B2 ($1,499.99), M702i-B3 ($1,899.99), and M801i-A3 (currently $2,999.99), which are all shipping out to stores now.
