Continuing to rev up their early spring HD DVD release pace after a sluggish winter, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring 'Children of Men' and 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin' to the format this spring.
Due first on March 27 is the critically-acclaimed sci-fi thriller 'Children of Men,' from 'Harry Potter' director Alfonso Cuaron.
Then, two months later, 'The 40 Year-Old Virgin' hits on May 22.
Universal has not issued specs yet for either release, though it is all but assured that we'll see the usual 1080p/VC-1 and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 tracks from the studio. Supplement details also remain TBA.
List price is $34.95 for 'Men,' which is a HD DVD/DVD combo release, and $28.95 for 'Virgin,' which is HD DVD only.
Listings for both Universal titles have now been added to our HD DVD Release Schedule. Stay tuned for complete specs as they're announced.
