The 1998 dramedy co-starring Philip Seymour Hoffman and Monica Potter is headed for Blu-ray in August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will be releasing 'Patch Adams' on Blu-ray on August 16.
Meet Patch Adams, a doctor who doesn't look, act or think like any doctor you've met before. For Patch, humor is the best medicine, and he's willing to do just about anything to make his patients laugh - even if it means risking his own career. Based on a true story, Patch Adams combines side splitting humor with an inspiring story that transcends the traditional comedy.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements will include: Audio Commentary with Director Tom Shadyac; The Medicinal Value of Laughter: Making of Patch Adams; Outtakes; Deleted Scenes; and Storyboards.
