Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced an October HD DVD arrival for the acclaimed sleeper 'Talk to Me.'
Based on the story of Washington D.C. radio personality Ralph "Petey" Greene, an ex-con who became a popular talk show host and community activist in the 1960s, 'Talk to Me' failed to make much of a dent in theaters but drew widespread critical acclaim, particularly for Don Cheadle's showstopping performance as Greene.
Universal will now give the film another shot on home video, when it bows on HD DVD day-and-date with the standard-def DVD on October 30.
Tech specs include a 1080p/VC-1 transfer and audio in Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround.
Extras include a behind-the-scenes featurette, a second featurette on the real Ralph Greene, and deleted scenes.
Retail for the HD DVD/DVD combo version will be $39.98.
You'll find all the latest specs for 'Talk to Me' linked from our HD DVD Release Schedule under October 30. Stay tuned for final box art to be added in the coming days.
