Get ready to ring in the New Year with the supernatural spooks of 'White Noise' on HD DVD.
Universal has announced it will unleash the 2005 sleeper hit on high-def January 8, only three days after the theatrical debut of its big-screen sequel, 'White Noise 2: The Light.'
Boasting the same supplemental package as the previously-released standard DVD, extras on the HD DVD are set to include an audio commentary with filmmaker Geoffrey Sax and star Michael Keaton, three featurettes, plus deleted scenes with optional commentary.
Tech specs include Universal's standard 1080p/VC-1 video and both Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround tracks.
Retail price has been set at $29.98.
