Three contents packs and no platform crossover ownership.
'Titanfall' is an online multiplayer shooter, and thus it goes without saying that there would be DLC of the variety needed to keep the game fresh for those logging daily matches. Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have announced that in addition to planned free updates, 'Titanfall' is already set to offer players three content packs, which will contain new maps as well as other unannounced content. The 'Titanfall' Season Pass will net players all three content packs for $24.99 versus a $10 per pack price.
It also looks like the Season Pass will convey early access to content packs.
From EA, "Get the Titanfall Season Pass and extend the fight on the Frontier with three new content packs. Whether you are playing solo or keeping up with your friends, be among the first to hone your Pilot and Titan skills in a series of challenging new maps. Season Pass expands Titanfall by delivering all three planned content packs as soon as they become available, at a one-time discounted price."
Furthermore, unlike recent moves for similar games, there will be no crossover ownership between content for different versions, e.g. the 360, Xbox One, and PC content packs will require separate purchases.
"The Titanfall Season Pass will only provide you access for content for the platform your purchase it for. If you purchase the Season Pass for Xbox One, it will allow you access to the 3 individual content packs for Xbox One only."
