'This is the End' Dated and Detailed for Blu-ray

The hit disaster comedy from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg arrives on Blu-ray in October.

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony will be releasing 'This is the End' on Blu-ray on October 1.

'This Is The End' follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

The Blu-ray/DVD/Ultraviolet Combo Pack will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: This is the Marketing, Commentary with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, and the featurette Directing Your Friends.

Blu-ray exclusives include: The Cannibal King, This is the Gag Reel, Deleted Scenes, Line-O-Ramas, Meta-Apocalypse, Let's Get Technical, Party Time, The Making of "The Making of Pineapple Express 2", and Jay & Seth vs. The Apocalypse-The Original Short.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $35.99.
