Lock your doors: Universal has announced that 'The Strangers' will invade Blu-ray this October with exclusive BD-Live content.
The Liv Tyler-Scott Speedman thriller scared up over $50 million at the domestic box office, becoming one of the summer's surprise sleeper hits. Universal will bow the Blu-ray on October 21, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs include 1080p video and DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround.
Extras include the "The Elements of Terror" featurette and a batch of deleted scenes.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray will be "My Scenes Sharing," allowing users to bookmark and share their favorite scenes from the film online (BD-Live-enabled player required).
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.95.
