Warner Home Video has announced it will bring the classic Charleton Heston thriller 'The Omega Man' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this fall.
Timed to support the December theatrical debut of the Will Smith remake 'I Am Legend,' Warner will unleash the original 'The Omega Man' on both next-gen formats November 27.
Specs are sparse, with only a 1080p transfer and the film's original English Dolby Digital 1.0 Mono audio. Mirroring the standard-def DVD version released back in 2003, extras include a featurette, film essay and the theatrical trailer.
Warner has set a $28.99 list price for the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions.
We've added new listings for 'The Omega Man' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, where he resides under November 27. Stay tuned for box cover art to be revealed in the coming days.
