A larger version of the company's highly-rated TV is now available for pre-order.
TCL has announced the addition of a 75-inch model to its 6-Series 4K HDR lineup. The new screen size joins the previously released 55-inch and 65-inch models (winner of our Editor's Choice award for Best Value TV of 2018).
Pre-orders for the 75R615 are now available through Best Buy for an MSRP of $1,800. In addition, the display will expand to more retailers in the coming weeks.
(Note: the Best Buy model does not include Voice Remote)
The TCL 6-Series 4K HDR Roku TV features Dolby Vision and HDR10 support, along with the Roku OS smart TV platform. In addition, the set uses Contrast Control Zone Technology with 160 dimming zones on the new 75-inch model. Likewise, the panel uses NBP Photon technology with LED phosphors to provide Wide Color Gamut support. A new iPQ Engine is implemented as well to maximize coverage of the DCI-P3 gamut and provide accurate color settings right out of the box. An HDR Pro Gamma feature is also offered to maintain details in dark and bright scenes regardless of a room's lighting conditions.
And beyond the new 75-inch model, TCL has also announced an upcoming Roku OS 9 software update for all TCL 5- and 6-Series TVs in North America. As part of the update, the displays will receive Spotify support, "Free" Genre Voice Search, and Dolby Vision compatibility for Xbox One X and Xbox One S consoles.
