Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced that it will bring the blockbuster drama 'A Few Good Men' to Blu-ray on September 18.
Nominated for four Academy Awards (including Best Picture) and featuring a now-classic performance from Jack Nicholson, 'A Few Good Men' grossed over $100 million at the domestic box office during its original 1994 theatrical run. It was one of the biggest sellers in the early days of DVD, and has remained one of Sony's most popular catalog titles.
Now the studio will give early adopters the chance to enjoy the acclaimed epic in full 1080p video, as well as to hear the immortal words "You can't handle the truth!" in all their uncompressed PCM 5.1 glory.
Sony has not yet announced what, if any, supplemental material will be included on the Blu-ray version, but we'll keep you posted.
Retail will list for a suggested $28.95
We've added a new listing for 'A Few Good Men' to our Blu-ray Release Schedule under September 18. Stay tuned for full details to be revealed in the weeks ahead.
