In an early announce to retail, Sony says it will bring the comedy 'Walk Hard' to Blu-ray this March in a two-disc set chock full of bonus material.
A spoof of musical biopics such as 'Walk the Line,' Sony says 'Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story' will hit Blu-ray on March 25, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Early specs indicate a two-disc set, with the first disc containing an unrated cut of the film, boasting 30 minutes of newly-inserted footage.
Multiple extras spread over both discs will include an audio commentary with writer/producer Judd Apatow, star John C. Reilly and director Jake Kasdan, multiple making-of featurettes, deleted & extended scenes, unexpurgated versions of musical performances seen in the film, and the "Line-O-Rama" montage.
Tech specs were not yet available at press time, but we'll keep you posted.
Sony has set a suggested list price of $43.95 for 'Walk Hard.'
