Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it is bringing the TNT original miniseries 'The Company' to Blu-ray on October 23.
Beginning next Sunday on the TNT cable network as a heavily-promoted three-week "mini-series event," 'The Company' tells the ambitious, decades-spanning story of the rise of the CIA from its beginning through the fall of the Soviet Union. Executive-produced by such heavyweights as Ridley Scott, Tony Scott and David Zucker, it's directed by two-time Oscar nominee Mikail Solomon and features a top cast including Michael Keaton, Chris O'Donnell and Alfred Molina.
Sony will debut the complete mini-series on Blu-ray October 23, day-and-date with a standard-def DVD version.
The studio has not yet released any tech specs or supplemental details, but stay tuned.
Retail is $39.99 for the Blu-ray version.
In anticipation of full details for 'The Company,' we've added a new listing for the title to our Blu-ray Release Schedule, under October 23. Stay tuned.
