Marvel's "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" is heading to Europe in July.
Sony and Marvel have released the first teaser for Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film is set to swing into theaters on July 5, 2019.
Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

Spider-Man Far From Home stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, Zendaya as Michelle Jones, Jake Gyllenhaal as Quentin Beck / Mysterio, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Marisa Tomei as May Parker, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, and Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes / Vulture. The film comes from director Jon Watts with a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
And in addition to the character's new live-action adventure, Sony's award-winning animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse starring Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, and Hailee Steinfeld is currently playing in theaters. The movie is set to hit Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray later this year.
Beyond Spider-Man, Marvel's upcoming release lineup also includes Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019 and Avengers: Endgame on April 26, 2019. Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox is bringing X-Men: Dark Phoenix to theaters on June 7, 2019 and The New Mutants to theaters on August 2, 2019.
