Sony has announced updated specs for the July Blu-ray release of 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose,' which is now set to include additional bonus features and BD-Live interactivity.
As we've previously reported, Sony first announced a July 22 debut for the critically-acclaimed horror flick last month, with initial specs indicating only a minimal batch of extras.
The studio has now issued the full press announcement for 'Emily Rose,' which includes several newly-revealed extras. In addition to the previously-announced trio of featurettes ("Genesis of the Story," "Casting the Film," "Visual Design"), the disc will also feature audio commentary with director Scott Derrickson and a batch of deleted scenes.
Sony says the Blu-ray edition will also feature exclusive BD-Live content, although the studio has yet to detail exactly what be available for download. We'll keep you posted.
Tech specs include a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio in English, French and Portuguese, and subtitle tracks in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
Lastly, Sony has unveiled a high-res peek at the Blu-ray cover art for 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose':
As previously announced, suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.95.
