The devil is coming to high-def this July, when Sony releases the hit horror film 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose.'
Starring Oscar nominees Laura Linney and Tom Wilkenson, and earning unusually strong critical notices for a horror film, 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' will hit Blu-ray on July 22. (Where it joins three other recently-announced horror flicks: 'Urban Legend,' and 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' and 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer').
Announced tech specs include 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio and subtitle tracks in English and French.
Extras mirror the standard DVD release, with a trio of featurettes ("Genesis of the Story," "Casting the Film," "Visual Design").
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.96.
