In an early announcement to retailers, Severin is set to release 'Turkey Shoot' on Blu-ray on September 8.
In a totalitarian society a few years from now, innocent 'deviants' like Paul (Steve Railsback) and Chris (Olivia Hussey) are forced into government camps where their 'rehabilitation' includes beatings, rape a and torture. But the most shocking brutality is still to come when they are chosen fofor the 'Turkey Shoot,' a hohrrific hunt by the sadistic warden and his wealthy friends using prisoners as human prey.
Specs have yet to be revealed, but supplements include: Not Quite Hollywood Extended Interviews, The Ozploitation Renaissance – Round table discussion with director Brian Trenchard-Smith, producer Antony I. Ginnane, and Ozploitation cinematographer Vincent Monton. (26 minutes), Turkey Shoot: Blood & Thunder Memories – featurette (24 minutes), Brian Trenchard-Smith Interview (10 minutes), Audio Commentary with Brian Trenchard-Smith, Turkey Shoot Trailer, Escape 2000 Alternate Title Sequence, and Blood Camp Thatcher Alternate Title Sequence.
