Appropriately mammoth-sized pricing has been announced for the mammoth-sized Ultra HD display.
After making its debut at CES back in January, Samsung has finally revealed more details and pricing for its upcoming 105-inch 4K TV. The gigantic LCD display will sell for... $120,000. Yep, better start saving those pennies now.
The UN105S9W features a wide 21:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160. The curved-screen LCD panel features the company's UHD Dimming and Precision Black Local Dimming for superior contrast and black levels. Likewise, the display offers a host of other advanced features, including UHD upscaling support, Clear Motion Rate 1440 technology, smart TV capabilities, and a Quad Screen option for segmenting the TV into four different screens.
Samsung is now taking pre-orders for the TV and the displays will be made to order. Delivery will take about 12 weeks once an order is placed and Samsung will send over a Field Engineer to help setup the display. Now, does anybody have an extra $120,000 that I can "borrow?"
