It's a boost for most products, but a decrease for home theater and appliances.
The newest development at Best Buy isn't a new product or a financing scheme or even a new type of warranty they can sell you on - this one is good for most consumers no matter how you look at it, and it's going to affect everyone that buys from the company.
Best Buy is dropping the 14-day return policy that's currently in place and subbing in a 30-day price match and return policy. This puts Best Buy in line with Amazon, which offers the same amount of time to bring products back for a refund.
Of course, it's not all good news. Best Buy previously had a 60-day policy for home theater gear and appliances, but that's going to be changing to 30 as well.
