Both offer AirPlay, YPAO system calibration and more.
Yamaha has revealed a pair of network receivers with identical feature sets, specs and front panel. The one difference between the $449 RX-V473 and the $549 RX-V573 is that one offers 7.1 channels of audio while the other gives 5.1. See if you can guess which is which.
On the new RX-V receivers you'll find the YPAO system built right in so that you can easily calibrate your system. They're also compatible with the Yamaha AV app which allows you to use your iOS or Android device to control your system, as well as a Kindle Fire if you prefer.
Both models are designed with a bit of future proofing in mind and offer 4K passthrough as well as 3D passthrough and an audio return channel.
