Just in time for the inauguration of our next president, Paramount has announced a January Blu-ray bow for the 1999 cult comedy 'Election.'
Starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, the teen satire of high school politics was previously released on DVD in 2000 as a relatively bare bones edition. Paramount has set a January 20 street date for the Blu-ray.
There are no tech specs or supplemental details as of yet, or any word on whether Paramount is planning to update the film with new bonus features. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $29.95.
You'll find preliminary specs for 'Election' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under January 20.
