Paramount Home Entertainment has announced it will bring the racing comedy 'Hot Rod' to HD DVD this November.
Starring breakout "Saturday Night Live" star Andy Samberg in his first leading role, 'Hot Rod' didn't exactly burn rubber at the summer box office, earning a weak gross of only $14 million.
Despite the neutral reception, Paramount will attempt to kickstart a new audience for the flick when it debuts it day-and-date on HD DVD and standard-def DVD November 27.
The studio has not yet announced any tech specs or supplement details for 'Hot Rod,' but we'll keep you posted.
List price for the single-disc HD DVD will be $39.98.
