Just in time for the holidays, New Line has announced a late-October bow for the comedy blockbuster 'Elf.'
Starring Will Ferrell and directed by Jon Favreau ('Iron Man'), 'Elf' was the sleeper smash of 2003, earning over $150 million at the domestic box office. New Line will release the new perennial favorite on Blu-ray October 28 (a DVD version was released in 2004).
Extras will include an audio commentary with Favreau and Ferrell, "Elf Focus Points" vignettes, an "Elf Karaoke" feature, and the "Buddy's Adventure Game." Also included is a separate disc with a Digital Copy of the film playable on PCs (though due to New Line's current policies, not compatible with Mac-based products).
There are no tech specs as of yet, but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.95.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Elf' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under October 28.
