Just one of the new DLC options.
In addition to the announced 'The Last of Us Remastered for the PS4, Naughty Dog still has some DLC one the way for the PS3 original, 'The Last of Us.'
While the 'Grounded Bundle' is heavily weighted toward multiplayer content, there is some single player aspects. Specifically, 'Grounded Mode,' which will be priced on its own at $4.99, is an extreme difficulty variant for the single player campaign.
From Naughty Dog, "Grounded Mode will be the hardest challenge you’ll ever face as you try to complete the single player campaign of The Last of Us. The AI is relentless, smart, and brutal and survival will be near impossible. “Completed Grounded Mode” might be one of the most difficult trophies you’ll ever earn."
Other content packs announced include the 'Reclaimed Territories Map Pack,' which at $9.99 on its own adds four maps, 'Wharf,' 'Capitol,' 'Coal Mine,' and 'Water Tower.' Then there is the 'Survivalist Weapon Bundle,' which at $5.99 on its own adds the Specter silenced assault rifle, the Double Barrel shotgun, Enforcer heavy pistol, and Launcher, an explosive launching potato gun. The 'Situational Survival Skill Bundle' and the 'Professional Survival Skill Bundle' are $3.99 a piece, and each adds four skills for MP. All players will receive the Full-Auto Rifle for free. All of these content packs are included for owners of the Season Pass ($19.99), which Naughty says will no longer be offered after the May 13th PlayStation Store update.
Naughty Dog has promised fans a look at the DLC on April 24th.
